Live foods for Live Kids

Health practitioners are observing large proportions of children who have adverse reactions to medications, food and environmental influences. The numbers of children diagnosed with hypersensitivity, allergies, learning disabilities and hyperactivity is staggering. We are even seeing an unusual number with seizures and neurological dysfunction.
The cause of this is many fold. Partly the result of toxins in our food water and soil, the environmental pollution of electromagnetic fields, sound, light and influences of constant stimulation, TV, violence and stressed out lifestyles. Since we are what we eat and it is probably the easiest parameter to influence, lets talk about food this month, next month we'll tackle the others.
Dr. Gabriel Cousens MD.(contacted at Tree of Life in Patagonia, AZ) is speculating about the influences eating habits have had generation upon generation. On studies done with cats (I don't condone animal testing, and research does allow us to see certain patterns) who were fed cooked food or uncooked(live) food, the third generation of 'cooked-food cats' showed marked genetic impairment: tumors, mutations, decreased brain function and the like; the 'live food cats' were very healthy and robust. What does a constant diet of fast food and packaged, prepared food do to generation after generation of American children? How does irradiation affect us? It kills all the enzymes and who knows what it does to the molecular structure. We know that hormones in eggs, dairy and meat and pesticides affect the glandular and nervous systems, antibiotics impact the immune system......
The normal process of growth and cell regeneration, conversion of food to energy and movement results in many toxins and products that the body must eliminate. If these toxins built up in cells and organs, the actually DNA structure is scarred and grazed. Enzymes are designed to repair and restore the tiny ladders and building blocks. If the toxic level is too high and/or there aren't enough enzymes......over time parts of the DNA break down and are lost...result...crossed signals in growth patterns and cells which don't function efficiently or are not properly differentiated....ultimately cancer and mutations. So how do we get enough enzymes? Fruits and vegetables, sprouts and nuts -basically uncooked foods. A diet of at least 50% "live foods" seems to provide enough for basic repair and a bit more in case of increased needs: illness, toxic environments. Live foods also have lots of "life source and sun energy". Many hyperactive, ADD, LDD & LSD kids put on "live food" diets improve dramatically; allergies disappear, they calm down, attention and focus improve.
